WHO AM I?

I am your neighbor and your friend. A life-long New Englander, having been a resident of Essex since 1975, I'm also a wife, mother, and conservative. After high school, I became a Registered Nurse and worked in hospitals in Burlington, Colchester, and Atlanta, GA . After several years, I started a small personal business which became a career for 28 years. My interest in other cultures and peoples led me on travels to Africa, Italy, Israel, missions to the Dominican Republic and other places. Some time was spent volunteering with the local homeless while my team, which I led, as we aided displaced adults and youth. Due to my many life experiences, I achieved communication, finance, cultural, and business skills which will contribute to my professional abilities. Allow me to be the voice of maturity, balance, and common sense in Montpelier as your State Representative.

More recently, having been politically involved, and active in the local community as well, for approximately 10 years, many rewarding experiences and friendships have enriched my life. It was a joy to have met many of you in my campaign for the House in 2020 and now in 2022. Essex is a beautifully diverse community with people who care about their Town. Vermont is a wonderful place to live--let's work together to keep it that way.
